WILMINGTON CHAPTER OF ROSE CROIX, 18°

Following a notice sent to all petitioners for a dispensation, an Assembly of Wilmington Chapter of Rose Croix, 18°, (U.D.) was held in the Red Room of the Masonic Temple, Wilmington, on March 24, 1911. Brother Harry J. Guthrie, 32°, read the dispensation granted by Sovereign Grand Commander, Ill Barton Smith, 33°, on November 23, 1910.

The Chapter (U.D.) was then opened in full ceremonial form by:

Thirty-four candidates were balloted upon, elected and received the 17° and 18°. The 18°was conferred in full ceremonial form by the officers.

A second Assembly (U.D.) was held on May 31, 1911, in the Masonic Temple, Wilmington and nineteen candidates were elected and received the 17° and 18° in ample form.

The Supreme Council granted a Charter for Wilmington Chapter of Rose Croix on September 21, 1911, and at a Special Assembly on December 13, 1911 the chapter was constituted in ample form by Ill James H. Codding, 33°, Grand Secretary General of the Supreme Council and Deputy for Delaware. Ill Harry J. Guthrie, 33°, resigned as Most Wise Master and an election was held with the following officers being elected and installed:
